In time for a birthday, holiday or special event if you order it today? Rest assured! Our Buyers work very closely with our Vendors to assure that we're in stock 90.5% of the time. In fact, they make our Vendors sign an agreement that they'll keep us in stock 100% and give us six month's notice when they're discontinuing an item! And our Web Guys and Gals are frequently monitoring the site to make sure it's current.
If you have ordered an item that says Temporarily out of stock or temp out, the item is out of stock in the warehouse but on the road or in the air in a truck/plane to us. We should receive it and ship within a week.
If you see an item Shipping on or before XX/XX this item is not in the warehouse and we are unable to get it from our Vendor until the date indicated. This usually occurs when an item is in the process of clearing customs or the Vendor is out of stock awaiting merchandise to arrive in their warehouse.
If you search for an item and find it on the Discontinued items page we can no longer get this item from the Vendor; they forgot about their signed agreement with us :-( Usually this item is not orderable online.
If something happens out of our control -- truck strike, fire, blizzard, item can't clear customs -- and yes, it does happen, we will call or email you and let you know as soon as we know that the item may not make a delivery date.
